WHERE IS SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK?

A long and narrow park high in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Every mile is bursting with beauty.

WHEN SHOULD YOU VISIT?

Spring, Summer, and Fall are great times to visit Shenandoah. For fall colors, aim for mid to late October.

STONY MAN  HIKE

It’s an easy hike to two great overlooks with some nice photo opportunities.

DARK HOLLOW FALLS

Great for kids but come early, this trail gets crowded.

BEARFENCE  ROCK  SCRAMBLE

The 360 degree view from the top of the rock scramble may be the best in the park.

FRAZIER DISCOVERY  TRAIL

The trail is peaceful and the overlooks are great.

The hike is really easy and pleasant. The best view is from on top of the boulders.

BLACK ROCK SUMMIT

Shenandoah National Park has a lot to offer. It’s worth it to get out and see some of the hikes that make the park so special.
